Our Objectives
The Wilmslow Advanced Motorists Group was set up with the objective of promoting higher standards of driving, and therefore increased road safety, among members of the public within Wilmslow and surrounding areas. Our aim is to assist you to prepare for and pass the Advanced Driving Test set by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Wilmslow Group is a Car Group and provides guidance for persons driving cars.
How Much Does It Cost?
The driving sessions are free! Our observers (who are all full members of the IAM) are all volunteers and give their time free of charge. There is a fee of £99 to cover overhead expenses, your subscription for Associate Membership of the Wilmslow group, the training pack including everything you will need for the course, the advanced test fee, and 12 months' membership of the IAM. Drivers 25 and under will receive a discount of £20 from this fee.
